About The Author

I have had five names in my life. The first is the one I was born with. Physical and emotional trauma and the fight for survival highlighted this period of my life.

The second name is my adopted name. This has become my legal and family name. This change allowed me to apply the psychological defense of compartmentalization. I put my first personality in a box and forgot it, which was the first step to creating an alternate personality. Over competitiveness and a desire to please mark this alternative. It allowed for the development of next-level survival skills. Allowing intuitive skills to become dominate in the manipulation of people. Awareness of the surroundings and keen physical skills honed in the boxing gym gave me a presence. A seeker of knowledge and the motivation to help others allowed leadership and trust to develop. Then came the rejection of both families of my adoptive status. After that came the natural depression inherited or developed. I was at a crossroads. I dedicated myself to gathering the best ideas of humankind and to using my intuition and my ability to innovate to help myself and others.

My friends gave my third name to me. It was common to shorten last names to a nickname; thus, “Capps” was my name among the South Trenton River Rats. Tony Capps was a different person. He was real but an open slate. Through self-direction Tony Capps transformed into a gentleman and a gambler. Back alleys and underground life were familiar to Tony Capps. Tony Capps was experiencing life on a different level and was learning about the true nature of people. More people knew me by this name than by my legal name. This personality allowed me to develop the theory of functional alternative personalities. This is based on self-direction and applying a fundamental understanding of psychological and emotional defenses. Everyone is familiar with multiple personalities, which were defects and were uncontrolled subconscious action. Why could not this become a positive psychological agent for change?

My next name became Minister Anthony, given to me by the church, I developed this personality to understand spirituality. Christian-based Minster Anthony leads a church of one and seeks no other members. And finally, in a moment of inspiration, there was born a Sage, tcapps. tcapps mission is to deliver a generational message.

Mission Statement

In the beginning, I prefer to start at the beginning. Things evolve from the simplest to the most complex. The most complex thing we know is the human mind. It is logical that the human mind is the last thing to culminate. This process of development appears in the social sciences as psychology and sociology, and as religion in spirituality. Observationally, over the last 50 to 100 years, the human timeline has displayed all the traits of adolescence. Secondary sexual development, self-awareness, mood swings, search for identity, risk-taking behaviors, and search for belonging. Now we begin the transition…to adults. Thus, the next 50 to 75 years will be by definition: “The Age of Maturity”. The mission of this site is to offer a “guiding hand” in the maturation process. Technologically, the moment a human enters space as a permanent habitat, we become “Universal Citizens. “This will be a moment of self-definition. The survival of humans depends on making this a successful transition. In the tradition of duality, we must use the scientific method of observation and experimentation of human action, applying the principles of psychology and sociology with universal spirituality. Drawing from humankind’s cumulative knowledge, we understand we will not know the “facts” or “truths” in our lifetimes. So, we will proceed with what seems most reasonable. We can accept, adapt, or change reasonability. There is no right or wrong, just the process. The better the process the better the result. We know this process individually in practical application as a “path.” Each society also follows its “path”. Observation of our current path has shown that societies and individuals’ greatest exploitation is sex. People exploit sex on all levels of human interaction because it works on a primary level of survival, which we once needed. And now it has become our greatest weakness. At the other end of the spectrum is our greatest strength, which is our capacity for love. So, logically, to become a mature species, we must start at the primary level and become masters of sex and to maximize our strength we must become masters of love. To ensure the upward progression of our society, we must continue to build institutions. A primary institution is language. We can create our own language to ensure growth. We can reinforce our legal marriage system with a spiritual commitment, thus growing another institution. Our greatest source of conflict is the creation of in/out groups. We have evolved to have a diverse system of rites of passage. Rites of passage are the way each society teaches its adolescents to become a functional part of society and were a common experience. In society today, everyone might experience a different rite of passage. For some it might be high school, for some the military, for some it may be the gang…the list goes on. For each of these rites of passage, we form a different in-group. Each in- group seeks its path, and conflict develops. The solution is to have one defined rite of passage for everyone. To have a common experience of culminating our personalities and to present a mature “Universal Citizen”. Reducing societal conflict and allowing full personality development. Spiritually, we must all understand the universally of religions. All religions have a common purpose — to relieve suffering. It is essential that we live in harmony with each other in the universe. We need a path to spiritual understanding and acceptance. All of us require relief from suffering. We must understand the power of self-directed energy. This is not a for-profit site. This site will invest money and energy in the programs needed for the maturation of the people. It is an attempt to provide the tools necessary for the survival of the human species. For this seems the most reasonable path. This will be called the Path of a Warrior.
